Rose Petals Summer Camp – July 10-14, 2017

Welcome to the Rose Petals Summer Camp 2017 Registration Page!

This camp is open to young skaters ages 7-11 of all genders and all skill levels. In this camp, skaters will be divided up by skill level to facilitate making the most of the time they have with us. Skaters in the developing group will learn the basics of skating and roller derby (stopping, falling, blocking), while higher skilled campers will learn rules, strategy and high level game play.

Camp is July 10-14, 2017

We have full day and half day sessions available this year. We encourage kids to do the full day session to make the most out of the week, yet we understand that families have time restrictions.

  • Full Day Session: 8:30-4:00, $325
  • Half Day Sessions: 8:30-12:00, 12:30-4:00, $175 for each session

Campers will spend part of the day on skates and part of the day doing off-skates activities like yoga, arts and crafts, off-skates strength building and strategy chats.

*We will provide all rental protective gear and skates through our free Rent N Roll program. You only need to provide a mouthguard*

Developing Track: Eve Ann Hellical (Lead)

Advanced Track: Tarantula (Lead) and Shaolin Spocker (Assistant)!

Shaolin Spocker has been skating with RCR since 2010, is a past member of Travel Team, and is in her 5th season skating with her smart-and-pretty home team, the High Rollers. She also joined RCR’s Rosebuds program in 2016 as a coach for the Little Red Riveters, and she NSOs whenever she has the time and brain space. Spocker has loved working with the Buds and seeing them grow into amazing skaters and doubly-amazing human beings, and she’s stoked to experience coaching Petals
