Rose City Rollers (RCR) is a unique nonprofit looking for an equally special Events + Facilities Manager.

STATUS This role is 40 hrs./wk—Full-time, exempt. Work generally happens 10a-3p weekdays plus many evening and weekend meetings/events. Comp time is available on a rolling basis for weeks worked over 40 hours.
COMPENSATION $53,000-$59,000 salary based on experience and reviewed annually + benefits

Who are we? Rose City Rollers is an 18-year-old fearless sports organization that prides itself in being body-positive and an empowering space for women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals. We are the largest roller derby league in the world with 400+ members, ages 7-55+. Members and their families are engaged folks passionate about derby and its impact on our Portland community.

Mission fit is essential to our organization, along with innovation and creativity. These traits must be coupled with the ability to take the initiative independently while working with our members and volunteers. The exact title and salary will reflect your experience with the below tasks.

The Events + Facilities Manager oversees the planning and execution of RCR bouts and Skatemobile events, along with managing RCR’s Hangar at Oaks Park. Skatemobile is our mobile skate vending truck. This person is responsible for providing high-quality, on-brand experiences for RCR fans and supporters while achieving revenue and expense goals. While this is a management position, it also requires significant hands-on tasks. You’ll oversee the Special Events Coordinator and plan and execute bouts and Skatemobile events alongside this person.
