Call Me VA

Since my name is Virginia, and I grew up in the state of Virginia (yes,it's true), friends have always called me VA. And I've always been, well, substantial... so I was plenty teased about having curves early in high school. My number, 32G, is actually my longest standing bra size (yes, it's a real bra size!) I worked as a bra fitter, and dream of opening my own bra shop for all the D+ girls out there, so they can find their own va va voom. And the BOOM? While curves are great, using them to knock people down is even better!

Biggest asset: Hmm, I think we covered biggest personal asset. What I bring to the team? A little bit of mom, and a whole lotta your momma!

What you love about derby:  My Derby Family...I know GNR will (mostly) still love me even though I like disco (shhhhhhh!). And really, what's not to love about derby? Even the bruises are pretty.

Your day-job: former photo editor turned stay at home mom

Other hobbies besides derby: smashing my shopping cart into other peoples' at new seasons, fender benders in my car (unfortunately true), holding grudges, hypocritically telling my 3 and 6 year old girls to stop playing "derby" with no skates, helmets, or crash pads on.
