Call me Eclipse

A solar eclipse happens when the moon blocks out the sun (a star). A Roller Eclipse happens when I block out an opposing skater (especially one wearing a star!).

My number, 1221, refers to December 21st, the darkest day of the year.

Favorite part about Derby: I love that derby requires both athleticism and quick thinking. And the derby community is amazing - I love my teammates and our fans! Also, knocking people down while roller skating is really fun.

Day-job: Working with adolescents with psychiatric and behavioral challenges

Other hobbies besides derby: Backpacking/hiking, photography, knitting/crocheting, horseback riding and ROCKING OUT!
