Call me Artemis

My name comes from the fictional character Artemis Fowl, a genius criminal mastermind. In addition, the Greek goddess, Artemis, is a powerful namesake. She is fiercely independent and strong.

Best part of Derby:  My teammates, the derby community and fans, roller skating. That feeling you get when the hard work pays off, and then looking forward to achieving that next goal.

Day-job: I am a small business owner and a busy mom.

Other hobbies besides derby: Smacking sense into people, kicking butt and taking names, staring down other soccer moms, working in my jammies.  I like to rock and roll all night, and party every day. Oh, and before derby I enjoyed ballet, painting, and playing guitar.
