We want to thank all of our fans that stopped by the Meet & Greet at the home season Championships last Saturday. It was great to meet you, and have pictures taken. The link to the first group of pictures is already up on Facebook, and can be found in the photography section of the Rose City Rollers forum (viewtopic.php?f=79&t=19898). There you'll also find other photos from Championships, with more on the way!

The next few weeks we are going to be preparing for three great events!

The Wheels of Justice are taking 16 skaters to ECDX (East Coast Derby Xtravaganza in Philadelphia, PA) to compete against Steel City and Gotham Girls Roller Derby. This will be a fantastic weekend of top-level derby. There is talk of a possible viewing party or two for these bouts, so please keep watching here - and our Facebook account - for the details!

After that exciting weekend, Wheels of Justice (WOJ) and Axles of Annihilation (AOA) will both be bouting Sacred City in The Hanger at Oaks Amusement Park. WOJ will face them on Friday night, after the Rosebuds bout; and AOA will get their turn on Saturday night.

On the home front, the full Travel Team is working on a really great fundraiser. They will be hosting Bingo on July 1st. This will be the last rainy weekend of the summer, so make plans to join us! More details will be coming soon. If you would like to help with this event, we would love to have you. There will be all kinds of ways that you can help with this, and other upcoming events. The Travel Team does just that, travel the country to compete with top-level derby teams. This takes a tremendous amount of commitment. Not just of time and talent, but also a substantial sum of money. It is expensive to be this awesome!

At the Denver bouts earlier in May, the Travel Team started their Giving Campaign to help them pay for their travel. Some have you may have seen it at their merch booth, or onFacebook. We know that not everyone can support us financially, but it would be fantastic if you would share the link with people. We always value the gifts of time offered to the league.
