Hey Grant, I'm definitely going up there, but still working on logistics for carpool/lodging. I'm also looking for some sign of which hotel people are going to stay at. According to an old string in the "Injustice League" section, the only person who has committed to a hotel is Sharkey - who has reserved at the Oxford Suites in Silverdale. It's a nice place very close to the venue but unfortunately more expensive since it's not an official event hotel and does not have the event discount.

Oxford Suites is the place for a good breakfast, nice hotel bar, post-bout hot tubbing. And the military dudes are always a hoot. Since a lot of my PTO is used for derby trips, spending the extra dough on a nicer hotel is worth it ... especially for a weekend-long event. Who knew that derby would replace "normal" vacations? LOL.

That is pretty much my thoughts exactly (grated minds think alike) - after the place last year with the gross coffee and no real space to eat breakfast I am willing to pay extra for a bar + hot hut + perks.

Considering 'normal' vacations for me often involve 4000 hackers in Vegas.. derby is pretty normal

DancingScott just reserved a large room at Oxford Inn (less $$ than Oxford Suites), can hold up to 4 humanoid life forms. Will be driving up Friday morning, driving back Sunday afternoon.

kati & I are going up Friday mid morning, staying through Sunday. We should have room for 2 who we can grab en route.

We're debating doing 101 up for scenary. My desire is to hit the hotel around to chill for a bit before madness starts.

I'll be burning some new cds - I think I have about 4 hours of Captain & Tenille medley's to make the time fly by...
