seriously, on behalf of myself and the rest of the Betties, i would like to thank EVERYONE for the amazing outpouring of support in the stands at Championships!
our section was PACKED FULL of friends, family, derby family, superfans, alumni, and faces i had never seen before.
honestly, i usually get so caught up and focused on the bout that i seldom get to notice anything not on the track, but this bout was different. our section was ON FIRE ... you were all on your feet, loud as hell, and seemed to be having a great time. we skaters notice that, feel it, and feed off of it.
thank you so much for being there and helping us become RCR Champions for the 4th time, and for a consecutive year for the first time in RCR history!!
