Well, I have been too busy for any Derby Deeds antics myself, but their conversation about Intra-League Sexing might be worth a listen. Some rules might be good for a league. ^_~

I'd much rather have refs who are sexing skaters than:

a) refs who used to be sexing skaters,
b) refs who wish they were sexing skaters,
c) refs who used to be but still wish they were sexing skaters,
d) refs who aren't sexing skaters but only because all the skaters have told them "not in a million years,"
e) and so on....

I am not familiar with this blog and tried to listen but couldn't pull it up. I can tell you that derby drama, from this players perspective, is often overrated and takes away the attention from how hard we are busting our passes to be legitimate players. And Jelly Pig, there are rules about those things.

This year RCR is going to be trend setters. When visiting teams are coming and I invite their ref staff I will be requesting that the refs that come not be 'involved' with a participating skater.
