August RCR Newsletter
Nothing makes most of us here at RCR happier than skating, so in honor of Happiness Happens Month, aka August, get happy with us. Skate with us, support incredible causes and enjoy some serious off-season battles when three nationally-ranked teams come knockin' on the Hangar door. At the end of the month, join us for Derby Daze, a weekend of boot camp-style workshops and a fierce match-up between Axles of Annihilation and Boise, Idaho's Treasure Valley Roller Girls.

Skate-O-Thon

Saturday, August 6, 1:30pm @ The Hangar at Oaks Park - Sibling rivalry? More like sibling smackdown!
Skate-O-Thon is new, improved and as important as ever. This year, the ladies of Rose City Rollers will be squaring off with those young whippersnappers in Rosebuds.

Anything she can do, I can do better? We’ll just see about that…

There’s more than bragging rights at stake. Skate-O-Thon is your favorite Roller Derby league’s annual fundraiser. This year we’ll be raising money in support of RCR and Rosebuds. Who’s got enough to win? The crafty veterans or the young upstarts? Come out to cheer all the ladies on as they skate a nine mile loop from the Hanger into downtown, across the Hawthorne Bridge and back. An end of season barbecue will take place at 3pm at Oaks Park following Skate-O-Thon.
Are you ready to help your favorite skater’s cause.
