Rose City Rollers and Big Brothers Big Sisters Sports Buddies Program

 
The Sibling Rivalry II bout will also mark the beginning of an exciting new partnership between RCR and Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest’s Sports Buddies program. Big Brothers and Big Sisters and kids involved with the program will take part in recreational opportunities with organizations including Mt. Hood Skibowl, Portland Timbers, Nike and the Rose City Rollers.100 representatives from the Sports Buddies Program will be available for photos and to answer program questions at the bout.

Rose City Rollers

Spring has the Rose City in full floral bloom, but the faint smell of rat is in the air. Don't miss the next spectacular event at the Memorial Coliseum when Portland's four home teams take on the four home teams from Seattle, aka Rat City, for Sibling Rivalry II!!!!  Also, WoJ is taking on the the Bay Area Derby Girls in a closed bout at the Hanger, but you can still see the bout via a LIVE stream on the big screen at the Baghdad Theater and Pub for a raucous viewing party like no other.


Guns N Rollers vs. Overbeaters Anonymous

Friday, April 1, 8pm (doors at 7pm) @ The Hangar at Oaks Park. Come see the Guns N Rollers take on OverBeaters Anonymous, a compilation of Washington's heavy hitters, in an exhibition scrimmage. Bring your own snacks; beer will be available for sale at concessions.
$7 donation at the door; no advance ticket sales.


Open Scrimmage

 Saturday, April 2nd, 10am-1pm, @ The Hangar at Oaks Park. The pickup scrimmage is a fundraiser, open to skaters of all skill levels over the age of 18. Join the action - just five bucks to watch or play. Free admission for volunteers. Women play from 10am-noon; with co-ed play from noon-1:00 pm.


Wheels of Justice vs. Bay Area Derby Girls Live Viewing Party 

Sunday, April 17,  2-3:30pm (doors at 1pm) @ Bagdad Theater and Pub on Hawthorne (3702 SE Hawthorne Blvd.). The Wheels of Justice will be taking on their arch nemeses Bay Area Derby Girls in a closed bout at The Hangar at Oaks Park.  Come to the LIVE stream viewing party at the Bagdad Theater. Pre-show band: Pocketknife, with RCR's Napoleon Blownapart.
Tickets are $8.00 - get them from any RCR Travel Team player.


Heartless Heathers vs. Break Neck Betties

Saturday, April 2, 6pm (doors at 5pm) @ The Hangar at Oaks Park. The ice queens of the Heartless Heathers will face-off against the sweet-tart Break Neck Betties for Season 6 Bout 4.  This event is SOLD OUT. Sibling Rivalry II: RCR 4x4 vs. Rat City

Saturday, April 23, 5:45 to 9pm (doors at 5pm) @ Memorial Coliseum . Sibling Rivalry II, will feature round two of the brutal battle between the two sister cities, Seattle's Rat City Rollergirls and Portland’s Rose City Rollers.  Four brutal, 30-minute, half-length bouts between each city's four home teams will take place. RCR will be raffling off a NEW CAR, courtesy of Tonkin, as well as a gift basket valued at over $500!!! Raffle tickets will be sold at the bout only and you must be present to win. General Admission; $20 Rockstar Guaranteed Seating - Buy tickets NOW!


WOJ Derby Workshop Series

Saturday, April 9, 3pm - 7pm, @ The Hangar at Oaks Park. Portland's Wheels of Justice are hosting 6 different boot camps January through June. WoJ Workshop - Jamming is the 4th of six. Space is limited to 20 skaters per camp. Contact Scratcher in the Eye to register.
