WARNING: RCR Derby Fever Expected to be Highly Contagious this Year!
2011 is off to a great start! We couldn't ask for a better turnout at our first-ever Rose City Rollers Home Team season
opener! Over 4,000 people were in attendance for our Memorial Coliseum debut. And, of those in the audience, about 40%
raised hands when asked whose first time it was at a bout. Hell yeah - that is phenomenal. The season opener was played
in a scramble format, with four 30-minute bouts. Last season's standings determined which teams would play one another. The
final outcome of the season opener was:
2011 Season 6 Standings:
1. High Rollers: 1-0
2. Break Neck Betties: .5-.5
3. Heartless Heathers: .5-.5
4. Guns N' Rollers: 0-1
The High Rollers may be ranked #1 at the moment, but the competition is fierce! You won't want to miss any of the action this year!
Heartless Heathers Pummel the Thrill Kill Kittens at their Friday Night Scrimmage Fundraiser
The final score: Heathers - 180, Thrill Kill Kittens - 100. Thank you Cadavers,
Cherry City Derby Girls (Salem, OR), and
Cruzroom Bar for a kick-ass evening. Looking forward to February 5th when the Heathers take on the #1-ranked High Rollers!
