Semi-finals for the home teams are right around the corner, but in the meantime, we have some great travel team and
junior derby bouts to look forward this month. Our all-stars, the Wheels of Justice, have moved up in the 1st quarter
Western WFTDA rankings to 4th place! This month we'll see them bout against both #5, Rat City Rollergirls and #3, Rocky
Mountain Rollergirls. Don't miss the action!
In other exciting news...Rose City has a new blog to check out (here) and
Brutal Beauty, Tales of the Rose City
Rollers, the Rose City Rollers documentary, has been sweeping up awards at film festivals! In the past
two weeks, it's won Festival Director's Choice Award (Best of Show) at Indie Spirit Film Festival in Colorado and
took top honors at Crossroads Film Festival in Mississippi. Big congrats to Chip Mabry and the Rose City Rollers!

Battle for the Coast
Sat. - Sun., May 1-2nd at Ventura County Fair Grounds
The Axles of Annihilation are participating in the 2010 Battle for the Coast roller derby tournament on May 1-2 in Ventura, CA.
This year's battle will feature 10 of the best teams from up and down the west coast in a two-level tournament. For additional

Rock 'n' Roll Camp for Girls Fundraiser
Thursday, May 6th 6pm at Buffalo Gap
Eat, drink, and be merry! The Rose City Rollers partner with Buffalo Gap to raise funds
for Rock 'n' Roll Camp for Girls. From
6:00pm-8:30pm, 50% of the proceeds will go to the Girls' Rock Camp, and from 8:30 on, it's 10%. Live

Wheels of Justice vs. Rat City Rollergirls

Sibling Rivalry! Rose City Rollers'
Wheels of Justice
host the
Rat City Rollergirls
of Seattle, Washington in a WFTDA sanctioned bout at the
Portland Expo Center.
Rat City is ranked 5th in the WFTDA Western Region and will be scrapping it out to try and beat Rose
City. Tickets are $16 for General Admission, $20 for Rockstar guaranteed seating. Doors open at 5pm, bout
starts at 5:45pm. Plus, look forward to a special scrimmage between a mixed-up group of Rose City
players: Team Good Kids vs. Team Bad Kids.
Roll Out & Roll In
Sunday, May 16th 9:30-1:30pm at Kay's
ROLL OUT of bed & ROLL IN to Kay’s for breakfast with the Wheels of Justice! Join the Wheels from 9:30am
to 1:30pm, just $12 gets you your choice of
veggie biscuits and gravy or frittata, hashbrowns or cinnamon roll, and a PBR, bloody mary, or mimosa PLUS one raffle ticket!
Prizes included signed Wheels of Justice pictures and a PBR Long Board, to name a few. Also prize for best pajamas!
