Glitter party!  Purplestravaganza!

The WFTDA Western Regional tournament, Bridgetown Brawl, is THIS WEEKEND.  IN PORTLAND.  LOOK HOW MANY CAPS I AM USING.  WE ARE THAT PUMPED.

Remember last year’s Westerns?  I flew to Sacramento on Friday night, missed WOJ’s first bout,  flew back at 5am on Monday, and got the flu.  Still totally worth it.  You cannot miss the opportunity to see most of the best teams in roller derby right in your backyard.  Tickets.  Buy them.

Also: we’re having a party!

Come to the hangar at Oaks Park at 8pm on Wednesday (September 21, 2011) for a banner- and sign-making party. You’ll meet team skaters, members of the Wheels of Justice, and other fans just like you.  Bring some art supplies and paper.

Recommended:

• Purple paint
• Purple sharpies
• Purple glitter
• Mad art skills
• Pegacorn stencils
• Clever slogans

Non-allowable:

• Gold glitter

If you’re feeling especially social, or if you really enjoy the adulation of derby girls, you’re welcome to show up at 7pm to help us tear up the floor. Seriously. We can’t party until the floor goes in the truck.

Do you still need tickets for Bridgetown Brawl?  Easy to fix.
